The following days are scheduled school holidays and special events for the upcoming year.

June 24-July 19: 2019 Superhero Summer Camp
July 4: Independence Day (Closed)
August 5: Open House 9 A.M. - 12 noon
August 6: First Day of School
September 2: Labor Day (Closed)
October 30-31: Halloween Festivals & Parades
November 11: Veteran's Day Observed (Closed)
November 27-29: Thanksgiving Holiday (Closed)
December 16: Christmas Program 7 P.M. (M/W/F Children)
December 17: Christmas Program 7 P.M. (T/TH Children)
December 20-January 3: Christmas Vacation (Closed)
January 20: Martin Luther King Jr. Day Observed (Closed)
February 10: Lincoln's Birthday Observed (Closed)
February 17: Washington's Birthday Observed (Closed)
March 5-7: Rummage Sale
March 23-27: Easter/Spring Recess (Closed)
May 25: Memorial Day (Closed)
June 1: Graduation Program 7 P.M. (Children going to Kindergarten)
June 4: Last Day of School
June 22-July 17: Summer Session 2020
 

No credit is given for regularly scheduled holidays or vacations. Our holidays are based on the traditional school schedule.

We do reserve the right to close the school if the occasion should arise for our staff to participate in professional conferences. This is usually two days per year. The dates for this will be announced well in advance.

Special Events

 
Open House:
Gives all of the children the chance to meet their new teacher and visit their classroom. This is for the whole family and the children are welcome to stay to the end of open house, to become comfortable with their teacher and new surroundings.
 
Halloween Parade:
During school hours in October everyone is invited to see our "Big Parade" and hear us sing our fall and Halloween songs.
 
Christmas Program:
On the Monday and Tuesday evenings of the last week of school in December. Join us as the children sing their Christmas songs. Santa will be there too!
 
Graduation Program:
Monday evening of the last week of school. This program is for the children going on to kindergarten.
