The United Methodist Nursery School is a nonprofit preschool. All fees are based on the actual cost of operating the school. Tuition is figured on an annual basis with ten equal monthly installments, and 1/4 month for the days in June. Tuition is due in the beginning of each month starting in August. We accept cash, debit, or checks. Checks should be made payable to U.M.N.S of N.B. or United Methodist Nursery School of New Beginnings. Please remember that there are no make up days if your child is absent.
Parents who are classified as Parent Participants and are regularly scheduled into the program are given a creadit of $15.00 per day. This credit will be deducted from the next month's tuition. Parent helpers are required to: (1)Take an in-service training class, (2) Fill out a discloser statement, (3) have a physical, and verification of a current T.B. test, MMR, DTAP, and Pertussis, (4) Be fingerprinted for a background check. Parents will be given a check on the last day of school for their May and June helper days.
Each child is enrolled for the entire traditional school year, or the balance of the year or session. Two weeks prior notice, or two weeks tuition, is payable upon the child's withdrawal from the program. A child will be dropped from the program if the tuition is not paid by the 15th of the month, if the child has not attended during this time, and if there has been no communication with the school.
